Shiny new author mag. Check it out! #bluewhisky #pageturners #sharing #authors #newrelease http://bit.ly/2dEK3zf
It’s incredibly hard to be an indie author. It seems more often than not, we battle not only for recognition in a sea of writers, but against one another. To my dismay, too many writers seem to believe that the only way to get ahead is to belittle, steal from, undermine, and attempt to discredit fellow authors. It happens more than one would think, and for no good reason. There are more than enough readers to support us all although apparently some can’t see that.
Therefore when I was asked if I wanted to be a part of this new magazine, I jumped at the opportunity. Containing authors who are intent on promoting the works of others as well as their own, the concept of this magazine is brilliant. We all benefit. It’s the way it should always be and rarely is. Blue Whisky Publishing has graciously donated their time to put this publication together and the authors featured are sharing it, promoting all within it, creating a community of like-minded authors mature and sensible enough to realize that helping others is the best way to help themselves.
I am honoured to be one of the authors featured in the debut issue of Page Turners and will happily share it on all my social media sites. I would ask that any readers that like even a single author in this magazine to please also share it. Help them and others through a simple click of your share button. Any authors who embrace the ideal of helping others, please also share and, if you’re interested in being featured in an upcoming issue, DM Susan Fisher-Davis on facebook.
Thank you everyone, and happy reading.
