I don't have too much to report right now other than work is progressing on Paisley. It is more than half-way finished but at this point I doubt I'll make the end of March deadline I set for myself. Unfortunately too many other story ideas have been bombarding my mind and I've had to take the time to write them down. I know every writer has a different process and is inspired in different manners. For me ideas suddenly pop into my brain, usually while I'm writing something else, and then become devious little entities that knock about there until I actually write an outline for them. It's almost like an exorcism of sorts.
Since I started Paisley no fewer than fifteen of these ideas have attacked my poor brain. One is my next novel after Paisley, entitled Lunar Spell the blurb for which is on this site under the "Coming Soon" section. Another was the short story Take Me which is on this site under "Free Reads." Three more were short stories I wrote that are so dark I'm certain there is not a viable market for them. Six more were ideas for the There He Sat series and then there were a few strays I'm not sure what to do with. My brain is a scary place sometimes. :)
I will post an excerpt from Paisley soon, a little something to tide you over until its release, and I am sure there will be a few more blurbs in the There He Sat series too.
As always I welcome any of your thoughts on my current or upcoming work. Take care and Happy Reading!
